How to Get Traffic From Digg and Technorati
There is a chance that I might delete this post, as some
of the information that I am giving to you on this post,
is very close to what I showed my apprentices about driving
5,000 unique visitors to their sites every week.
YES! 5,000 unique visitors per week (20,000 Unique visitors
per month to their sites)
In fact, one of our students have already seen an increase
in his sales by more than FIVE TIMES since he joined our
apprentices program. So, I apologize ahead of time if I
delete this post.
1. You need to have a blog in WordPress.
If you are using another script, rather than wordpress, I
strongly recommend your blog to wordpress. Not only is it
easy to use, but you can easily plug it in with other tools.
In addition, this allows you to easily ping RSS feeds for
every new post that you have automatically. This allows
people who use RSS readers to read your post immediately,
every time you make a new post.
2. You need to link your blog with high traffic blogs.
Don’t just link to one blog. Link to as many high traffic
blogs as possible. The more the better it would be. WHY?
There are OVER 20,000,000 people who use Technorati to
search on subject they are interested in. It is safe to
say that technorati is the google for blogs.
Look at: http://www.technorati.com/search/www.henrygold.com
So far, we have 59 links from 9 blogs. You can see that
if you were to link to henrygold.com, you can easily get
more traffic from people searching on that henrygold.com
through technorati.com.
WHY people have to search on henrygold.com though?
Well, we have about 750 unique visitors to Henry Gold’s
blog every day. In addition, we have an average of 50 - 60
people search from RSS Feed. Bloggers know about technorati
and are curious about our activity.
BAM!! Your link is on the spot. They link to your blog
immediately. How will that effect the traffic to your
site? TREMENDOUSLY!
HINT: All you have to do is put our URL onto your
sidebar, your link will automatically show up on
http://www.technorati.com/search/www.henrygold.com.
That’s all you have to do!
3. Post TOP-NOTCH comments or articles on your blog.
Hey… If you post something like BUY MORE PRODUCT,
DOWNLOAD MY SOFTWARE, there is no reason people go
to your blog. In a couple of words, THEY HATE YOUR BLOG.
However, when you FOCUS your attention more into high
quality posts, you will wonder how many people will
just digg your post, bookmark it onto the rss feeds,
print it out, email to friends, and much more.
This is why I started to see MOST of my traffic pour
in from digg.com, del.icio.us, and many other
bookmarking sites.
4. Focus on ONE Keyword on each post.
It is very important that you do NOT post whatever
you feel like. Instead, when you make a post on your
blog, do it with the intention to stuff each post with
one keyword.
This allows you to build a good search engine ranking,
while have fun blogging.
5. Start blogging DAILY!
One of the MAJOR factors bloggers are NOT getting traffic
to their blogs because they simply put ONE post and
expect to see the results immediately. GEEZ!
C’mon… How can you get MAJOR traffic if you are NOT
even motivated to inform others through your blog?
The key in here is start blogging every day (Or even
four times a day like I do). When you do this, you will
be seen as an authority in your field. This way,
whatever you say and do, other bloggers will listen
to your advice.
Well, of course there are MORE ways to drive traffic to your
blog. Not just from technorati or digg, but many other
different traffic sources, including Myspace, YouTube, or
700+ social bookmarking and networking sites.
BUT… before you are able to do so, you really need to
build a VERY SOLID foundation. The foundation that allows
your web 2.0 business to be BULLET-PROOF. This allows you
to HACK into any business you want to in the niche you
are targeting.
Go ahead and look into it closely at:
http://HenryGoldSecret.com
Not for me, but for YOURSELF. If you are going to set-up
a web 2.0 business, such as your own blog, you MUST know
the concept that I have laid down for you inside Henry
Gold Secret. WHY?
Look. There are BILLIONS OF BLOGS out there. There are
thousands of competitors in your niche. If you do NOT even
KNOW how to build a strong foundation in your business, your
CHANCE to survive in the web 2.0 era is EXTREMELY SLIM.
In the end, your competitors will DOMINATE your market, and
you will either have to close down your blog and go around
the circle. No EXCEPTIONS!
Get it NOW at:

It changed my life TWO years ago.
It changed my business tremendously.
It has also changed my personal friendship with others.
I am very confident it will change yours as well.
Go for it.

Henry, I enjoy hearing and reading your thoughts and plans. Have’nt invested much with you yet, but have learned a lot.
I am too involved and spent too much time and USDs on to many false “get rich quick gold mines”
Working on a few this time that seem to be honest and productive –we will see - pray.

Henry, I’ve been receiving your newsletter for a few months, but today is the first time iI checked out your blog. Why? I’m an “old-school Internet marketer and frankly, an old dog too.
The very thought of having to learn new “tricks” weirds me out. The thing is, I’ve seen drastic drop off in my daily traffic scores, since about October ‘06.
Yeah, so I guess its maybe time for me to learn something new and invest in technologies that I scoffed at last year, blogs and RSS, being 2 of the major ones.
Thanx for 411 - much continued success to you.

Wow this post is a real eye opener. Up to this point I had not considered getting traffic from linking out. I have been concentrating only on getting inbound links but I see what you mean with the Technorati example.
Great Tip!

This is good information but I have to ask if you had a change of heart with web 2.0.
I think it was only about 2 months ago when
you said that web 2.0 is way over-hyped and was only for those who want to con other people into buying products to try and get into this huge traffic potential.
Now I’m seeing you doing strategies on how to get traffic from it. Am I missing something here?

This information is really great. I don’t sell a product, I run a project, so it is difficult to bring in traffic.
I have a new blog and been using mybloglog and technorati to get some traffic. Going to start using Del.icio.us and other solutions.
Great info - thank you.

I have got to say, I am hooked on Henry’s newsletters! BUT I am behind on all of this blogging, RSS feed, web 2.0 and all the above.
I am stuck back in frontpage 98 and don’t know how to get out of the rut. With my husbands new website look I need to find a new way to drive traffic to the site before all the products and work is completed.
Getting a new computer after taxes will help and trying to find out what website program to use instead of the old frontpage 98. However this will not help if I don’t learn the how to’s.
I need to learn new ways and I don’t know where to begin. I put in the website’s URL but I don’t know why you are asking for peoples URL. Did I miss something?
I really need help when it comes to blogging, RSS feed, web 2.0 It would be greatly apprieciated for some coaching or a helping hand. Got any suggestions? Have a Blessed Day!
