Traffic to Your Blog — With Sticky Blog Post
Let’s talk about this for a moment. How can YOU REALLY make your blog STICK all the time?
Seriously, there are many blogs out there.
Why do bloggers have to choose your website?
Why do they want to spend time reading your posts?
Why do they want to even subscribe to your feeds?
Why do they even have to care about your website at all?
There are reasons behind all of these things happening. There
are reasons why Bloggers stay at your site, abandon your site,
or bookmark your site. The whole scenario itself depends on
how STICKY your blog really is.
Today, let me give you some “Real-Life” Examples…
The first time I launched HenryGold.com. I discovered that
80% of the people who visited my site left the blog as soon
as they finished reading my post. In addition, most of them
NEVER read more than two pages.
After utilizing the analytic tools and some wizard formulas,
I’ve decided to use the same strategies I have successfully
implemented on my niche blog (I am NOT going to reveal my
blog’s name), I lowered down the EXIT rate by 20%.
In addition…
I have also seen that the AVERAGE TIME a user stays on my
blog is growing from 30 seconds to OVER 2 Minutes and 30
seconds. FURTHERMORE, the percentage of the NEW visitors
is ONLY counting up to about 58% of the total visitors.
This tells you that Henry Gold’s blog visitors are NO LONGER
just from the new comers, but regular visitors. Also,
enryGold.com has 1:3 page view. This means that one
visitor will view 3 pages on Henry Gold’s blog.
This is a SOLID RESULT!
How do we do it on HenryGold.com?
How is that possible for us to receive such an AMAZING
RESULTS?
It is simple. We used those elements and principles of STICKY
websites on our blog. Though we are ONLY two months in the
game, we are ALREADY fighting like the pros.
NOW, let’s talk about each element very carefully, ok?
1. GREAT Content. — Regardless what you post on your blog,
it has to have EXTREMELY powerful content. Not just any
content, but GREAT content. This is what bloggers are
hungry for.
If you are depressed or down, do NOT try to post! It
will just make bloggers UNSUBSCRIBE from your feed.
In addition, you need to FOCUS your content MORE about
your professionally life. — HINT: Do not talk about your
personal life or issues.
2. Don’t Sell Them Immediately. — 99% of the blogs are
FOCUSING on driving traffic to their blogs, where they
put up a blog post just to SELL THEIR PRODUCTS or
DOWNLOAD MY STUFF. This is really AWFUL!
In fact, this is the WORST thing you could do on your
blog. Understand that bloggers are ALL about GREAT
CONTENT. Once you give them a great content, then and
ONLY then, you can recommend something to them, which
is your product.
3. Ask Bloggers for INTERACTION. — Feedback, comments, or
even suggestion are the KEY for interaction between you
and bloggers. In addition, if you are thirsty for social
proof and credibility, you can use your blog to BUILD your
reputation in your field.
REMEMBER: The more you make bloggers participate on your
blog, the more they feel like home. In other words, they
will do as much as possible to CONTRIBUTE to your site,
and ask others to participate in everything you do.
4. Do NOT Blog Negative Posts. — When your upset, down, or
even FRUSTRATED, do NOT post negative content on your
blog. This makes you look like an amateur blogger.
Marketers that are utilizing other people’s weakness to
BOOST their reputations will SOON lose their credibility
in their fields. I have found out that this is NOT ONLY
true, but it will also TURN off bloggers to post on your
blog in the future. Avoid doing this!
5. Do NOT Allow Negative Comments. — Your Blog is Your
Media. When people start to BASH other people on your
blog or playing politics, you MUST remove them right
away. WHY?
LOOK. Your blog is your community. If a marketer finds
out that you allow others to BASH other marketers on
your blog, they will START to abandon your blog right
away.
FURTHERMORE, 99% of the bloggers are negative. They
have trouble at home, they are depressed, they have
financial issues, or may even be frustrated about
certain circumstances they are facing in their lives.
If your blog is full of negativity, will it make them
MORE DEPRESSED? ABSOLUTELY!
Stay FOCUSED on the positive energy on your blog!
Stay FOCUSED on becoming the attraction from people who would
like to receive ideas, insipiration, or even suggestions from
your blog. The more ALIVE your blog is, the more STICKY your
blog will be.
These are THE BIGGEST RULES on making bloggers stay on your
website all the times. Of course, you need to make sure that
your blog will also RECEIVE steady traffic, where you are
able to get STEADY TRAFFIC to your blog.
All of these can be found at:
* Traffic from digg and technorati (I)
* Traffic from digg and technorati (II)
* Technorati Traffic Strategies (Part I)
* How to Get Traffic to Your Blog (Part I)
Of course, as time goes by, I will keep updating you further
on new tricks and strategies about how to get more traffic from
digg, technorati, and even other social bookmarking sites
to your blog.
This can be easily done once you know how to build a SOLID
FOUNDATION of the web 2.0 technology.
“Why This is Such A Crucial Process?”
LOOK. There are BILLIONS OF BLOGGERS out there. There are
many content blogs all over the net. The ONLY way you can
differentiate your blog from others is your ABILITY to
create a POWERFUL strategic plan with your business.
We are NOT referring to just regular business planning.
We are NOT referring to a simple web 2.0 website.
We are NOT referring to a traffic generation system.
However, we are referring to a complete BULLET-PROOF system
that allows you to grow your business consistently without
worrying about the TURBULENCE on the web 2.0 era.
Not ONLY is this extremely CRUCIAL for your survival, but
this is the key for your future online success.
Today, I strongly ENCOURAGE you to really take a closer
look at:
http://HenryGoldSecret.com (Wild Stuff!)
Not for me, but for yourself. If you are going to set-up
a web 2.0 business, and DRIVE thousands of unique visitors
to it, you MUST know the concept that I have laid down for
you inside Henry Gold Secret.
It changed my life TWO years ago.
It changed my business tremendously.
It has also changed my personal friendship with others.
I am very confident it will change yours as well.
Go for it.
Success is YOURS,

Hello Henry,
Once again, a very instructive post.
With all the means of communicating with each other, I’ve often felt that each one had varying rules for properly maximizing the use of that media.
I’ve suspected as much about the blog, but couldn’t seem to point my finger at the exact thing about it.
Thank you for clearly expressing what I couldn’t quite grasp!

I think I should use wordpress blog very soon,
I am using squidoo but i think its harder for reader to submit comments after the first post (or I just havent figured out how)
Now about great content I agree 100% but sometimes I sent my list some great contents but the result is more unsub compare to when I sent an offer to a great product or service that I sell.
But maybe if i use wordpress blog it will be better…

My new blog has the potential to change the life of anyone who reads it but only if they continue to come back and read more.
The material clears up many issues surrounding life. Many of the issues are just that not necessarily because of what one believes but because of the order and time frames of the things they believe.
The blog points out some of these incongruence’s and the reader is empowered to understand why and how they have come to believe the things they do and gain the freedom to challenge their own beliefs.
This blog needs to be constructed and marketed in the most effective way possible. I have the content and at this time I need to add expertise and professionalism in presenting the material freely to the world and to afford to be able to continue to do so.

Hi …. Just got your email, and YES!!! I am the RIGHT person for you to select for the “free” seat in your coaching program. The reasons, among others, are these: I BELIEVE I will be that person - I see myself there already. I am smart, and know how to take the ball and run the homerun - Just show me! I WANT to be that person, and know how to deal with a “BRAIN-DUMP” - I also know how and when to ask questions, and to say “why not” and/or “what if” stuff! (I’m also not afraid to …. ) I’m coming off some of life’s difficulties (the kind of thing only God - or whatever you believe in — can change), and now have passion to the extreme to move forward. Please take my hand, and help me do that …. and I will forever “pay it forward”. Thank YOU for the opportunity! LindaR

Is there anything more positive than focusing on others? Helping others to succeed in this new age of internet marketing?
I think not!
There is simply no greater joy that responding to a blog post or an email from a subscriber and being able to truly help them!
Henry, you have not only inspired me (and others) to push forward with our goals with grit and determination, but have provided the tools to do so.
It gives me immense pleasure to pass on the wisdom to my readers, and to know the information they are getting (as am I!) is pure “Gold”.

Hi Henry,
I received your email this morning about your mentor program and would like to be considered for your free seat. I have the drive and passion it takes to make it with the right teacher. I have finally started to make a few dollars every month with my sites but really need the right information to take it to the next level. I have tried some of your products in the past and have had a little success with some of them. I am willing to do what ever it takes to get to the next level of success as fast as possible. I recently became unemployed and need it very quickly. I have an established domain www.freearticlepublishing.com and www.resell-rights.biz but lack the traffic for them to be truly successful. Your consideration for your free seat would be a blessing to me.
Thank You David

You have to provide great great content that is positive, upbeat and gives people a reason for coming back.
Thats why I enjoy reading your blogs so much.
I would really like to learn more from you on how you do this, how you create your blog, what thought processes/structures do you use to come up with the ideas, what tests you put in etc in order that I could benefit from your experience.
Please pick me as one of your students so that I can benefit other people who have yet to learn all that the world has to offer.

Hi Henry,
It seems that you’ve zeroed in on substance instead of fluff. The 5 points that you’ve outlined could be renamed as follows:
1. Give them quality (message sent: “My Info Rules!”)
2. Give them respect (message sent: “You Won’t Be Pushed Around In Here. Feel Free To Browse At Your Leisure. No One Is Going To Immediately Grab You By The Collar And Insist You ‘Buy! Buy! Buy!’”)
3. Give them value (message sent: “Your Opinion Matters To Me And Here You’ll Be Heard. Let’s Chat About Stuff. You’re Not Less Than Me.”)
4.+5. Protect and foster a superior mindset (message sent: “This Is A Cool And Enriching Place To Be. Make This A Comfortable And Pleasant Hangout For You.”)
The common denominator in the list you’ve delineated is simply that it’s extremely ATTRACTIVE. Who in their right mind doesn’t desire that kind of situation to be in?
It goes to show that if we grasp something of human psychology we can create an environment that compells interest and meets needs.
Henry, thanks for sharing your valuable points.

Dear Henry,
I was most impressed with your blog that I was directed to from your email. I’ve gotten your “Make 1 Million” package(reading through it now), and I’m in midst of readinig Joe Vitale’s “Attraction Factor”, and your blog was a “bull’s eye” on me. I’m an author/journalist/copy writiing person, forced by layoff to follow my dream - and I made the decision yesterday to follow Joe’s advice and reset my thinking and goals - and BAM! your email comes today. Being basically a writer - I’m an Internet Neophyte thus the use of the “done for me” website noted above. I’ve recently partnered with a site builder in Sweden and we’re working on several of my ideas now. They’ll be up & running within 3 months, so when your email went on about Web 2.0 I was more than interested and completely uneducated about what it is. I definitely agree with your blog comments about “negativity” - and I’ve vowed to not allow it in my life or from my associates/friends. I’ve lived long enough to know I don’t have any time for it - my energies are needed to start earning my first million.
I haven’t signed up for your coaching (finances not manifested yet), but I did purchase your Underground Secret MasterMind Package today because I felt it was “opportunity knocking” to enter a higher circle of peers to accomplish my goals.
Good fortune and health to you, and thanks for all the insight I’ve gotten from your articles & emails.

Great blog with great tips - I’ve bookmarked it.
Why should I qualify for your programme?
1. When I subscribed, I wanted to earn a few extra bucks every month. Since then, however, my mind has completely changed. I know I can succeed with the right training. Can you train me to succeed, Henry? I am absolutely positive that I will succeed. I keep telling that to everybody and everybody thinks I’m crazy. I’m not crazy - I’m just aiming high.
2. I have invested a lot of money and need to earn that money back as soon as possible (I’m a student and work part-time as a teacher). Furthermore, I have decided that I don’t want to have a full time job in the future. And of course I want to become wealthy. This is the first time in my life that I’ve realised that I can become rich if I choose to do so and that it is possible to learn a great deal on the net, even though my knowledge is currently low.
3. I’m Swiss. How many Swiss people have you trained? My only concern is that I may not be able to take part in the telephone seminar because of the time difference. But of course I am more than willing to get up should it be night here.
Can you see that I am just waiting to get your email with the message that I am in? So, when will I get it?

Hi Henry
I am glad to have the opportunity to express my views here in order to qualify for one of your up coming free coaching session.
I don’t have a website nor a blog. I believe in education therefore I have been educating myself on internet market issues.
I happened to have participated in Jacob Stein’s teleseminar when he invited you on one of the sessions to share your experience and knowledge on the 30th of January.
I really want to start up an online business and been thinking what the next step should be. I want you to offer me a place on one of the 50 seats available. One thing I have learnt in this life to succeed is to:
COPY WHAT THE SUCCESSFUL DOES
I want to learn what and how you manage your business to be successull. I believe your up coming coaching session is one of the things you always do in order to be on the track.
I am an international student (just completed) from one of the sub-saharan African states currently in the UK and I want to do whatever it takes to succeed in this internet business.

Hello
I am commenting on here to qualify for coaching.
I recently retired from 26 years in the service (Coast Guard) and was looking forward to taking life easy and fidlin around doing things I wanted to do.
Imagine my surprise when I found out my finances had not been run right and I am now looking at working for the rest of my life.
So I decided that I want to work for myself. I began learning about all I could find about IM marketing.
I have followed three ” Gurus” since I found them. David Valliers, Whom I am learning from. Mike Kemski, Whom I am learning from and now Henry Gold .
To say I am a begginer is just an understatment; I have had to learn a lot by trial and error, but I keep right on trialing and erroring… My goals is to be able to quit working for someone else, to quit two of my three jobs. I seem to do a lot of work for a retired person. I am going to make this work come hell or high water.
I do this for 2 or 3 hours every morning before I go to work. (I get up early) I also get a few extra hours now and then if my wife is working late and I have no chores to do.
I really appreciate the tips I get from You Henry, and have actually started to see some results.
I have 4 blogspot blogs, two wordpress blogs (that I am stilllearning to use) two hosted blogs (Yahoo 360 and MySpace) My own web site, two Squidoo lenses, and I write a lot of articles.
I have tried adwords and adsence but they only cost me money, I tried the affiliate marketing thing, and I tried E-Bay but lost money there too. Now I am focusing on 2.0 and am trying to make the breakthrough to become self sufficient.
I would say I am not desperate for your help, but it sure would be nice to be able to quit my jobs and be mostly retired.

Hi Henry,
First off, thanks for the “bang-on” synopsis of some of the main keys to successful “sticky” blogging. Your post above contains important lessons for us all. Those who are currently “up” on Web 2.0 have the edge — something of course we all strive to attain, and I’ve found through past experience that to be “on the cutting edge” requires following the lead(s) of Henry Gold. Thanks for getting me this far along. I am certainly no expert in the ways of Web 2.0, and already I hear others talking about the emergence of Web 3.0 — it’s the nature of present day technology — exponential growth that requires all the focus in the world to merely keep up with. In order to be where I want to be, which is not merely “keeping up” but staying ahead and on the forefront of available technological advantages, I need to be schooled by an expert. Given my past experience with your programs, there is no doubt in my mind that YOU are the expert I need to listen to, to continue to act upon the wisdom and experience passed along to me, and to emulate the success that you so aptly model and support with facts and figures.
I’m sure that, as with most contests, you’ll have no shortage of people who will claim to demonstrate desire, readiness, commitment, dedication and perhaps even some element of financial need in order to fill your free coaching seat. There are several million such entreprenuers working at making a living on the web right now, and of the informed ones reading this blog, there is bound to be some pretty compelling competition for that one seat. Where I believe I stand out from the crowd, (and I’m not afraid to say I’m different) is that I “get it”. I UNDERSTAND that this is not just a coaching course of Web 2.0 techniques and survival methods being offered, it’s a SYSTEM you’re going to teach that will provide the opportunity for success throughout the changes on the Internet. That’s what I want, that’s what I need to learn, and that’s what you’re offering to provide to me as winner of the free seat. That is what makes your free seat contest unique, and so much more valuable than a “free course”. It’s a coaching opportunity that is more than a short term solution to changes in the way business is done on the web — it’s building an understanding of, and developing a facility with information, techniques and strategies that, combined as a “bullet-proof system”, will translate to success long after the current “new-2.0-isms” become commonplace.
I also understand what my responsibilities will be as winner - replication and appropriate application of your knowledge, thorough in-depth study of the material offered for long-term understanding of the principles you’ll provide me with, and plain old hard work to use what I learn to be successful in the long term — through the Web 2.0 “chaos”, and even beyond the unknowns of Web 3.0! It’s important to note that these “responsibilities” are not so much what I need to do to thank YOU for the opportunity, but what I feel I need to do to maximize the opportunity given to ME. Sound selfish? Then you’re reading this wrong. If you’re going to be a beacon amongst the “billions of bloggers”, then you need to honor responsibilities to yourself and maximize whatever potential you have — and this is where the competition of compelling “entries” is difficult. There’s potential in every entry I’ve read thus far. What makes me think I can win? — It’s just that, I KNOW I CAN WIN, just as I KNOW I’m succeeding and will continue to succeed… and that attitude has to transcend beyond any contest and into the heart and soul that a true winner conveys on the web. Sharing that “heart and soul” which I believe is the basis of success is my ultimate goal, and it’s what should make me your choice for the coaching seat.
Thanks for listening, and I look forward to hearing from you on Thursday.
Respectfully,
Mark

Henry -
Your posts have been succinct, full of content and just what the doctor ordered. The comments in this post remind me of the Disney philosophy of customer service - over deliver. Give people what they really want, then give them more and they will reciprocate.
I believe that I would be a valuable asset to your coaching program - not because I know everything, because I definitely do not! But because I love to learn and I jump in and execute.
I have two masters degrees (I suppose one wasn’t enough *grin*) in medicine and I enjoy writing. I have been writing articles for other Internet Marketers for several months and am now opening my own Health and Wellness PLR membership on Sunday.
I have learned from others and am now executing.
I now work from home and have developed an incredible passion for the Internet and the potential the exists in both the medium and myself.
I believe that my go-get’em attitude is what is needed to succeed; as well as the desire, perseverence and a bit of intelligence. I know that with your coaching program I can better learn to harness the power of my passion and pay forward my rewards.
Thank you for being so generous to make this offer to your list!
Warmly,
Gail

Hi Henry! I got so excited when I read your email about the 1 free ticket for your coaching. This is the most fantastic news that has been handed to me. I have been internet marketing for about a year and although I have had some sales, etc. I am not even close to where I thought I would be by now.
It’s not due to lack of persistence, passion, hard work, or consistent learning because I have and do all of that . . .I believe the link that has been missing is you and HenryGold.com.
Since I started receiving your emails, I have basically devoured every word written. I have read your emails a couple times over and am constantly re-reading your blog posts. I am understanding how Web 2.0 could really change things around for me. I have started pursuing this. I just started my Wordpress blog, and have been following your blog and emails step by step.
I want to succeed more than anyone. I am having tremendous financial difficulties right now and am trying to hang on to what I own. I am unemployed, which is tough, but now All my time goes to my affiliate marketing business.
I know that I can do this and be extremely successful. I have the drive because I love internet marketing. I am passionate about it because this is my life.
The day I started receiving your emails has really changed my way of thinking regarding internet marketing. Thank you for that. Being personally coached by you would give me the opportunity of a lifetime, one that I will give my all to and won’t fail. Thank you for this chance.

Very informative blog entry.
I have been subscribing to your mailing list and I am sure I have not made a mistake doing that. You have been providing just the right information that I needed.
I have been trying a number of methods to make money online. Maybe with your guidance, I will be able to identify what was wrong with my current approach.
Thanks in advance

I am just curious as I have never been in an online teleconference. I am from South Africa and I am using a mobile dialup which is running a little faster than our local landbased dialup. Yet it’s still very slow. Would that disqualify me?

Hi Henry,
Thanks for the opportunity to grab a complimentary spot on your coaching programme.
I believe I am the right person for this because i need to learn the right way in which to drive traffic to my current two websites and related blog as well as another five networks of sites i have planned for the next 3 months.
I already have the content prepared for these and am starting to put the pages together now.
I am an action person and just a few days ago used your instructions on developing traffic from Technorati. Now i have not had a lot but the quality has been very high.
I made one post last week with a link to one of my websites. The guy visited my site and then followed a link from the site to a niche product I have on golf. It turns out this guy is a top teaching pro in the US and wrote a book back in 1999 with a similar title. He contacted me via e mail to ask how i came up with the name and where i got the material for my book.
I sent him a message back explaining that i had not plaguerised his material and i have sent him a copy to put his mind at rest.
He is now going to read it and give me feedback which will be great for me as i can use it as a testimonial and possible joint venture.
Just using that one easy to follow instruction from you has given me a very high quality potential partner.
If i can use a simple tip from you to do that then i just babble with excitement of what i can really achieve with the whole course.
As you can see from my post i TAKE ACTION and will share my results with others to help them as well.
Thanks for your hard work and keep the good stuff coming
All the Best
Richard

Henry,
I like your blog. I have learned a great deal from you and some from people’s comments. Your marketing ideas are brillant. I would very much like to be mentored by you. I am a quick study and I have an almost photographic memory. I can write fairly well and I have no problems being criticized.
I will succeed because I am hell-bent and determined. Thanks for your news letters and ideas. If you are willing to take me on I will be a star pupil for you. Anyway, that’s my story and I am sticking to it!

Hi Henry,
I believe I have a great product and service and I also believe that the Web 2.0 is important to get the word out to the world about my product. In fact it’s imperative that I learn the world of Web 2.0 and how to use it to my advantage.
Even though I am a ‘newbie’ to all this I believe it’s something I need to spend time learning in order to be successful. If the world is into Web 2.0 then that is where I need to be to get noticed. Remaining a static website with no interface with the Web 2.0 seems like a disaster in the making.
I have learned one important thing by following the IM niche and that is to find a mentor who is knowledgeable and follow his example and make it work for myself.
So I have found that guru (respectful use of the word) and am ready to follow his guidance to success. Success isn’t an option in my book, it’s the only choice.

The right person for your coaching program?
People who are willing to listen and digest and act on your advice - and apply it at once. Like applying your advice on “reviewing” other people’s blogs. Just applied it right after I read it and gained already a new number of blog readers at my site. (Not to mention the affiliate sales added including one to you Henry!).
Luckily I tend to be a passionate person that keeps winning some good stuff… (Oh, yeah sometimes also passionate about bitching about scams and things that do NO NOT work, but always returning back to not forget WHAT works…)
Now this blog post seems a little bit odd to some people, but actually it is part of Henrys new coaching program. Psssstt… he gives out a free seat.

Dear Henry
I’ll keep it short. I could give you a list of reasons as long as this page itself, for why I should be considered for a ‘Free Seat’ in your course. However, aside from doing my God Required duty (done with passion), which is that of furthering others in life, I have discovered that no matter what skills you may possess Napoleon Hill summed it all up when he said it all comes down to one aspect of the human spirit and that is ‘DESIRE’. Everything I do in life is based on that principle. I Love your Blog and your works…keep it up…inspiring others is the greatest gift we have…on par with ‘DESIRE’ I feel, which is encompassed within my Company’s Motto (see below).
PS: So many these days require more literacy, to truly reflect their talents. This is true also with the Internet. We have spell check on our PC’s yet who uses it? Incorrect spelling…inexcusable in my book. You know why? It shows the author is LAZY!
Kind Regards
Brett Young
