This is so SCREWED UP. Online Business Owners will FAIL!

Think about this. Every business owner that have I met are
always trying to put the blame on everyone else. They blame
things like: government, economy, war, recesssion, people,
market, competitors, and much more.

However, They will NOT take the stand on blaming themselves.

WHY?

ONE FREAKING REASON. They are scared of losing face.
They think that if they ADMIT their mistakes, people
will look down on them. This is totally WRONG!

As a leader…

You have to stand on your own two feet. You can’t hear
ONLY the good side of the business and HIDE the bad side
of it on the sidelines and hope no one will notice it.
This is NOT a leader, this is a coward in a zoo.

HOW do you become a good leader?
HOW do you position yourself for change?

1. Start from yourself.

You are THE leader of your LIFE, not just in business.
It means that you are personally responsible for the
well-being of your life and the people that work with
you.

The first key in here is… Start from yourself.

What time do you wake up?
How many EFFECTIVE hours do you spend on the business?
HOW do you define success?
Does the work today determine your success tomorrow?
Are you talking about the well-being of the company
or out of scarcity of the business?

Attack this BRUTAL reality and live your life in the
present and NOT in denial.

2. Blame the failure on your leadership.

There are so many negative people in the world. People
who will say things that are NOT neccessary. However,
as a leader, you need to be a MAN WITH DETERMINATION.
The person who knows how to define right and wrong.

If you are WRONG, admit you make mistakes and fix it
right away. It is perfectly OKAY to admit that. We are
all human-beings and we are NOT perfect.

On my ventures, I have made a lot of mistakes. I took
responsiblity and fixed things right away. Though I know
my capacity, it doesn’t stop me. Sure, it may slow me
down temporarily, but as soon as I solve the problem,
the solution is BIGGER than ever.

3. Talk too much and get less things done.

I hate people who talk too much. Leadership is the opposite.
If you want to become a leader, use your actions to prove
things, and not just telling the people around you WHAT
you are going to do.

Do it first and then TALK!

We are ALL full of ideas and creative human beings. One
of the things that we need to understand is… Most
people love to talk too much about their ideas. They
think about beating Google.com in the future.

SCREW IT! If you want to beat google.com or be better
than Google, talk less and do more. PUT your strategy
in place and start working toward that goal.

LOOK. As much as people hate Microsoft trying to take
over Yahoo!, Microsoft is puttin up all the strategies
to be BETTER than Google in many ways. They waited YEARS
before the HOSTILE takeover bids.

So, why talk more than necessary? What is your strategy?

Talk is CHEAP. Action is EVERYTHING!

4. SCREW Your Competitors!

They want to beat your ass, do your best to fix things
and move on as fast as you can. Every single time you
come up with a new campaign, it has to be much better
than the previous one. NO EXCEPTIONS.

It is either you win or you lose. NO middle ground.
When you win, STOP celebrating. Keep moving ahead. When
you lose, stop taking it so hard on yourself and Create
a new strategic plan.

Remember: Wasting time on celebrating gives the chance
for your competitors to catch up with you. This is WHY
so many companies see the downturn after the victory.

5. Treat your business as a business.

Many of you have been ABUSED with the idea that if you
own a business, you can relax at home and spend more
time with your family.

C’mon guys! Having a business is like having a full
time career. It is true you can relax, but ONLY when
you have set up the complete systemization within your
business itself.

IF in the beginning of your venture, your whole purpose
of having your business is to sleep and enjoy life,
you are NOT looking for a business. Instead, you are
just being a lazy bumn sitting on the couch at home.

You want to know the truth?

Here is the truth: Many people spend most of the time
browsing, reading emails, porn (Yeah! Guys), and much
more, when they are suppose to work on the business.

If this is you, and most likely it is, how do you expect
others to take your business seriously? Chances are,
it will NEVER happen.

Here is what you need to do:

A. Tell your spouse or significant others that you are
working. Tell them NOT to ask you to go out buy groceries
or take the kids to the school, just because you are home.

B. When you work, stop reading those emails or surfing
the website. Work is work. This is how people will take
you seriously in everything you do.

C. Set-up the time on WHEN to work and WHEN to stop.
Working all the time will make you CRAZY. Use a timelog
carefully. This gives a certainty to your significant
others that you CARE about your personal life as well.

That’s all for NOW!

I am GLAD that I am geting this out of my system. I
know this will help you clear up the KNOT in your mind,
as well as what to do in business.

Remember: If you are NOT aggressive enough in your
business, your competitors will be. They will SABOTAGE
your business. In the end, you have everything to
lose, nothing to gain.

Success is YOURS,

Having read Henry’s Make1Million.com material and also what I have read in this blog.

Henry is honest in what he says people do blame other things for the mistakes and failures. Afraid that you lose face. Well lets face facts, you only lose face, if you do not take the bull by the horns, and admit your mistakes.

Learn from them and move on, if you never made a mistake then you have never made anything.

I have been involved in different ventures and make many a mistake. Well what did I learn from them, move on if something goes wrong admit it was your fault you will not lose face, and fell better because you did make something of yourself, you learnt how not to make the same make again.

Do not fear failure, as the best of us learn from our failures. Thomas Edison failed 10,000 times but then succeeded in the light bulb, when all laughed at him he never gave up and nor should you.

Admit when you are wrong, and move on giving up is giving in as though you had never started. I have never given up and never will.

I’m Alive thanks to never giving up, having poor health has never stopped me from trying to succeed and one day soon I will.

Listen too Henry Gold he does know how to succeed and like him and I admit your failures because you can turn those failures into success, only if you try and never give up as you will not have lost face, instead you will have turned on that light blub as to having learnt a lesson on what not to do, and admit you where wrong to begin with.

Good stuff Henry, right on the mark. If you don’t treat it like a business it will fail. Plus you nailed in right on the head.

On honest outlook on things where too many people lie to themselves and then wonder why nothing is happening.

    Cheers,

I totally agree with everything said. Responsibility comes with its rewards and its risks, and no “program” you buy or setup will ever succeed if you do not do the leg work. I think that this goes hand in handThe promise of this can usually create a frenzy with the truth of the matter though, is that especially on line, a lot of businesses fail for a related reason. There is a a majority who want to start a business on the Internet in order to avoid work at all costs while at the same time, achieving crazy income goals. After the reality of the effort involved settles in, the laziest of them just click over to SecondLife and forget about the whole thing, no matte what the potential for reward might be.

This article raises some good points. You’ve come a long way and there still a long way to go. Keep striving. Keep plugging. This was worth staying on your mailing list.

    Henry,
As always, you are on target. As I have stated before, I admire your truth and the top-notch information you put out to help us all.

I have found far too many people sabotaging their businesses with lack of vision, and denying their own frailties and failures. Whether through associates or working for some people like that, I have witnessed learning experiences for myself to learn.

I agree with your assessment on what it takes to lead, and many times that even means sacrificing our ego and to admit when we fail.

    Cheers!
    Paul

I have to agree with you Henry, and that’s exactly why I have decided to give my business away on July 15th, 2008. I just don’t have enough time to put into it to make it as successful as I know it can be.

Hopefully the right person wins it as I do plan staying on as an affiliate myself, as I have personally sponsored over 50% of the members in 29 countries and I wouldn’t think of ever giving up such a profitable position that being their sponsor will prove to be in the near future.

However, I feel I am doing the best thing for my company by giving it away to someone who would have the time and energy to make it all it can be.

I have literally burned myself out over the past 4 years and invested many thousands of dollars that I probably will never recover as long as I live.

I have only myself to blame, like you say.

Hopefully, someone with some great ideas will win my company on July 15th and it will all be worth while in the long run.

I am even including my brand new Viral Marketing Club in this gigantic giveaway, I just hope whoever is suppose to take over in July will be more of a online marketer than I have been.

I gave it my best shot, but you have to know when to call it quits.

    Dan

    Hi Henry,

I like your straight-to-the-point, in-your-face style. John Maxwell rightfully put it, ‘Everything Rises and Falls on Leadership’. If your leadership is poor, your business, your work, your relationships, your personal habits and your entire life will be poor.

Thanks for the shot of good sense!

    Appreciate it,

    Clarence

Be careful Henry. You are making sense. People will think your are an alien or something. Don'’t you know that making good sense is not popular in this day and age? I’ll apply your methods but, let that be our little secret. I am new at all of this. I don’t know what URL stands for…so I leave it blank…sorry about that, chief.

    Hi, Henry!

Well said. Bernice, “URL” means — Uniform Resource Locator, in geek-speak (just put your web site or your blog address in the URL line). Hope that helps.

For all, a good book that also describes this concept well in terms of *accountability* is Ken Blanchard’s “One Minute Apology” (same series as One Minute Manager). Short book, GOOD content. I just finished reading it today… so, good timing, folks. Take care.

Henry, this article makes so much sense to me.
We are quite happy to complain about others for their shortcomings, but yet on a very basic level, when we have failed, we are quick to complain, criticize and condemn anything or person in order to save face, it is a waste of time and action. I say accept responsibility for the problem and immediately take steps to sort it
out. The next step is to immediately send another team to find out what the cause was and finally take hasty action to prevent it from happening again! Only after the crisis is resolved and plans are place to prevent similar events happening again. Then you can you sit with the evidence and if it is warranted point fingers!
