email. In fact, one of my clients has about
100,000 subscribers, but he couldn’t even
pull $1,000 in sales.

(1) Your Email needs to be 55 characters
  per line.

  It doesn’t matter how GREAT your content
  is, if your email is longer than 55
  characters per line, people will have
  hard time reading them.

  It also means that even though you KNOW
  that the content of your email may have
  the information people need and want, IF
  they didn’t read it, they won’t be
  interested in what you have to offer.

  Again, it all comes back to:

“It is not what you think you know.
   It is what THEY think you know”

(2) Everything has to be personal.

  I hate it when marketers tell you that you
  JUST need to tell stories. Seriously, in
  email marketing, it is MORE than just story
  telling, instead, it is more onto building a
  relationship with your audience.

  Every email that you send out, whether you
  like it or NOT has to start with story FIRST
  about what you went through, your pain, your
  achievements, how you helped others, and etc.

  This is HOW you are able to bring the closeness
  between you and your audience. This is HOW
  they know that you are able to HELP them
  with their situations they are GOING through
  at that moment.

(3) You MUST stand as an expert.

  There is NO buddy to buddy stuff in email
   marketing. People don’t listen to followers.
  They listen to people whom they respect, trust,
  and have integrity.

   If you don’t stand as a leader, I don’t care
   how GOOD your product is, it will NOT sell.

   For example:

   Back in 2005, one of my students put himself
  as a regular “JOHN DOE” in front of his
  audience. Every single time he told others
  to purchase something more than $7, people
   would start shouting at him.

  They said thing like… “You are no longer
   my buddy”.

  When he came to me, I asked him to change
  the way he approached his subscribers.
  Instead of telling the audience that he was
  getting advice from a certain expert, I asked
  him to reword it to He was brainstorming a new
   secret project of his with a certain expert.

  Though it looked like a simple concept, it
   has helped him to generate tens of thousands
  of dollars every month, instead of just a few
  hundred like it used to be.

When you FOCUS your email marketing based on three
simple concepts, you will see a tremendous amount
of results from your email marketing campaign. NOW,
I am NOT the ONLY one who has benefited from email
marketing, but many of students have done the same
thing in the last five years online.
