Tiger Eyes
Since I was a little kid, my parents have
been consistently telling me that I looked
very scary. In fact, when I dated a girl in
my high school, she told me that I looked
very ugly.
I told her that she should blame on my mom.
She was the ONE who made me ugly.
The worst part is…
When I dated her, she told me that every
person that was close to her would ask why
your date looked very scary. They felt that
I wanted to eat them alive.
When I met her parents, she asked me what
I wanted to be in the future. I told her
that I would like to make a lot of money.
However, she adviced me that I should find
a JOB or something.
I firmly said… “NO”.
Since that time, my date had been ignorning
me completely. The last time I heard from
her was HER mom told her NOT to be close
with me because I might eat her alive.
Recently, when I met her mom in my friend’s
weeding party, she said that it seemed that
you made it. I told her, “Well, I guess I
am somewhat lucky”.
(Well, at that time, she hinted me that her
daughter is still available.)
Ok, I am NOT going further whether I go forward
with my former date’s mother’s plan or not.
The sense of this story is…
You need to have the “TIGER EYES”.
“Why Tiger Eyes are Important?”
Let me explain to you with the RECENT event
where it leads me to believe the “TIGER EYES”
of mine is the biggest reason for me to
achieve my dream.
One day…
I got a call from the bible study group leader
that one of our group members would be leaving
for good. It was so last minute that I had
schedule to work on my project.
However, since I do care about each individual I
deal with on my personal life, I decided to
attend the farewell party that Sunday.
NOTE: Sunday is usually my brainstorming day.
I work on the startegic planning every sunday
evening after church.
I put up my schedule on the CRM system to go
to the meeting, where I managed to buy the
Louis Vitton purse and wrote a nice card for
the girl who returned to her country.
During the meeting itself, everyone said
about how grateful they were to know her
and hope she had a great venture back home.
I gave her the cards and the gift, where
everyone in the group were shocked.
They didn’t expect that I would have had
the time to write a nice card and bought
a nice present for her. (They know me as
a very busy individual)
After everyone goes around, we ate pizza
and I decided to stay away on a side where
I fired up my laptop and started to brainstorm
what I had to do for the following week.
Here is the funny part…
I was so FOCUSED that I forgot what time
it was. I kept working, working, and working,
until one of the group members told me that
it is TIME for all of us to leave.
When I took the girl home, she told me that
she was suprised with the way I worked. She
told me that she has NEVER seen a guy who
looked very serious as IF I could take over
the world.
She said that when I worked, my eyes looked
very fierce. She paid attention to the way
I worked for more than TWO HOURS. Before she
left, she told me that ONE DAY she will
definetely see me in the NEWSPAPER or magazine.
The essence of this story is…
Success does take FOCUS. In fact, every
successful entreprenuer I have personally
worked with, they have the TIGER EYES. The
way they work, the way they talk, the way
they response to the situation is very
similiar with what I do.
I am NOT saying that you have to be ME.
However, IF you do want to become successful,
you need to have the tiger eyes within YOU.
WAIT! I am NOT saying you have to be aggressive
with people. Instead, you need to be on the
EXTREME side on pursuing whatever it is you
want in your life.
I am NOT aggressive with people.
I am NOT aggressive with people that I love.
I am NOT aggressive with my family.
However, I do become VERY aggressive with
whatever it is I want to pursue. I don’t
care how big it is. I just keep PUSHING
it until I make it.
Sure, I have HUGE roadblocks in my business.
I have failed on many occassions where the
system failed, the model of business failed,
the people I worked with quiting on me, and
much (much) more.
However, it does NOT stop me from getting
everything I want MY WAY. In fact, if you
look on the business system that I built on
It took me YEARS of struggle and perfection.
How did I do it? How did I MAKE it while many
people FAIL? How did I JOIN the PRO and PUSH
myself to the top?
It is all start from the “TIGER EYES“.
Go for it!
Be the TIGER in your personality on achieving
everything you want YOUR WAY. However, do
remember that don’t misuse the tiger eyes
in your personal life, but ONLY on your
professional life.
This is HOW you are able to REACH your FULL
potential in whatever it is you are looking
for in your life.
Success is YOUR,

Hi Henry,
Very interesting post. I would definitely agree that anyone wanting success in anything has to be focussed. We are all bombarded with distractions around us every day either as situations or people. With regards to my own success, I have become very good at letting others take my focus off the business in hand but your post has proved very useful.
Thanks again.

Hi, Henry
Great post! You are exactly right, it takes focus and determination to succeed. It helps one get through the road blocks and detours that always seem to get in the way. By staying focused on ones goals you will get to where you want to be. One just has to remember to put the blinders on and keep focusing on what one need to achieve. In this day and age it is real easy to get distracted. Meaning to get it done and staying focused until it is done is two different things. Thanks for the reminder, Henry!
Have A Great Day!

Great article, just heard Mike Litman this afternoon on DVD, and he said about the same thing. Mike’s kernel of truth I love, is you don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going. Not a criticism, as it sounds like Henry’s native language is not English, some spots the language is incorrect, but so what, the tiger eye is all that really matters. I doubt a tiger wears a napkin to dinne. God bless you.

Its the eye of the tiger, that triggers the fight , thats enough to the challenge of the rival…..yes.. i completely agree with you Henry, tiger eyes are crucial, the single minded focus like a laser painting its target. Success wants all of you… it does not respond to diluted efforts.

this is good stuff Henry. i t proves that the state of the heart is reflected on the surface.
For instant, i enjoy driving a lot and have never been keen on using a driver. Because of urge to get to the next thing on plan, i speed a lot while driving (that is not the point). The case in point is that friends have told me how my concentration is observable.
truly, I concentrate, not just because of the driving and the road; but because of these and the task I’m working on in my mind.
It is truly amazing how much you can do with determination and focus.

I can feel your drive it wakes up mine. I have soft brown eyes but have a wild cat inside that never gives up and gets her way, but not at any cost. I am a yoga teacher and I know that we have to help others.
I rebuilt my house in my 20s and I have a wood stove (as well as a very beautiful yoga studio). One day I was carrying a few cords of wood out of a truck up my stairs little by little because it is very heavy and takes a few hours. I have the energy of a man (not exactly all the strength though). My boyfriend never saw that side of me and he said ‘now I see how you did all the work on your house.’ He is a wild cat with a very powerful drive and he knows one to see one.
I want to make 20 000 each month like the woman in your last boot camp. I created a sleep technique www.sleepin7.com. I will do what you tell me to do because after that I want to make more.
Thanks Henry, I also have good instincts like a cat, and I recognized that you can lead me to the success I want.

Henry,
My first time here. I enjoyed your clip of the man. Your intense focus creates a lot of energy. I hope you remember to spend time with prayer and people too. There is a time for work and relaxation. Even the tiger knows the power within the shade of the bamboo tree.
As you grow even more successful and confident, you will direct your energy with ease and less effort.
Great subject line. It got me to open up the email and journey here. Thank you.

Yes, I agree that persistence and focus are important elements to help anyone endure the struggles and battles that crop up as one pursues their life purpose.
I believe also that our concentrated efforts are not the ONLY thing that guarantee success however. Our true power comes from a source greater and higher than ourselves - and it is THAT source combined with our own willingness to achieve that creates success on any level that matters.
This blog is encouraging to enforce that whatever you truly believe (and are willing to pursue with all you have), you can achieve.

Very interesting and encouraging post. Reinforces my focus and determination to accomplish my goals. It is hard to survive on disabiity income. Just trying to get a business started . . . I also have the desire to make $2500 weekly incomes. Due to severe medical condition where I am in daily pain —it is a constant struggle. However, Henry, I am still believing with prayer I can achieve and receive.
Have a Blessed Day !
