Attract More Joint Venture Partners with Web 2.0
Since many of you have already learned about JV mistakes
to avoid posted on my blog at:
5 reasons why nobody wants to promote your product
Are you committing these joint venture mistakes
Brutal Mistakes on joint venture strategies
Today, I like to take a step back a do something a little
different. After reading your responses to yesterday’s post,
it became obvious to me that maybe I should expand a bit
more about locating and approaching joint venture partners.
So what I’d like to do is take a brief moment to show you a few
simple ways to:
1. Find your ideal JV partners.
2. Approach them effectively.
Once you’ve set up your business foundation, performed testing
on your offer and gathered all of your statistics, now
is the time to begin considering a jv partnership.
You should have a list of targeted keywords gathered from
your PPC campaign and website tracking software to use
in this next step.
This next step is crucial.
Using the keywords from your PPC campaign and website
tracking software will help you identify websites optimized
for those keywords that are in your specific niche.
Once armed with your keyword phrases, you’re now ready do
some searches.
These are just a few Web 2.0 based sites to get you started
on your quest:
1. Ezinearticles - is a great place to use your keyword
phrase to locate the cream of the crop in your niche.
What I like about this site is that it has a Web 2.0
component that allows comments at the end of each
article.
According to Chris Knight, they’ve seen a 453% growth
in comments.
Once you’ve located your ideal partner, read a few
articles and leave appropriate comments with your
contact information.
2. Searchwarp.com - is another great site. Once you
use your keyword phrase to locate authors, you can
also leave a comment as well as rate the article.
It is very helpful in building relationships by first
giving something of value. A positive rating will
definitely make a good first impression.
3. Google Blog Search - is ideal for finding potential
partners who have blogs ranked for your keywords.
When you do find blogs that match your keywords,
you want to make sure there are at least several
days of active relevant posts.
Don’t bother to approach someone who is not
current in their field.
Researching these Web2.0 sites for joint venture partners
should help you find hidden but powerful online
business partners in your niche.
Once you’ve located jv partner prospects, I do not advise
starting with a pitch. As I have said before, it’s all about
the relationship.
Leaving comments and giving positive ratings on their
articles is a start. Also, consider writing a review
on your blog about them or their product without expecting
anything in return.
Trust me, this will go a long way toward adding value
to their business.
Making money online from successful joint ventures will come.
This is the true key to building your online success.
